Structural systems used in ej modular systems practise:
- Lightweight gauge steel
- Laminated wood
In lightweight gauge steel we use several systems that offer variations in acoustic levels, fire resistance, and structural stability. Several of those systems are presented on the images below.
For mezzanine construction we similarly use several solutions, which we base upon projects that we get from our client’s architectural design and requirements. We always try to find optimal solution between input parameters and local building code requirements, in order to provide competitive price and speed of construction.
So, how does it look in practice? We’ve made example video showcasing fully prefabricated modular elements transported and assembled on site. For this example, we’ve decided to make a case study for a school that was meant to be erected during school summer holidays. Task was to make a school, fully equipped and functional within that timeframe.
